5 Months old...already!

ALREADY! Joshua is growing up so fast. I cheer for his milestones but am a bit sad knowing it will be the last time I will see my babies firsts.

What is Joshua up to at 5 months?

Exploring everything with his hands and bringing everything to his mouth for a better look...taste.

If toys aren't near by he goes back to his old favorites.

His fingers.

Rubs his ears and eyes when he is tired. He gives himself away everytime.

Rolled over for the first time one day shy of 5 months, rolled over immediately everytime you put him on his tummyfor two days and now refuses to do it??????

Smiles all of the time when anyone talks to him except when I wanted to take these pictures and finally he let me know that he had, had enough.

He is even cute when he does that.

A few other fun things to know:

• almost 16 lbs
• I forgot to ask how long at the doctors but definitely growing tall
• loves solid food; carrots and apples are his favorite. Chicken makes him and his mom gag!
• He will drink some of a bottle of water but absolutely refuses formula
• gets really excited when he hears his Dads voice and whines if Joe doesn't pick him up when he gets home.
• plays a game with mom where he puts his forhead to mine and laughs
• prefers to sleep in his crib
• prefers to be put in his crib and left alone to go to sleep (no rocking for me :-( ! )
• takes his binkie again but only to go to sleep
• likes to stand on your lap rather then sit
• takes 3 -4 naps a day
• is still a very easy, loves a schedule baby
