One final summer vacation before school starts. Joe has a Conference in Lake Tahoe. Lucky for us! A paid hotel room, paid gas to drive up and per diem for food. It would only be better if we got to see Joe a little more. He has to work all day while the kids and I lay on the beach. We can't wait to get there...but first a little stop over in the beautiful, thriving community of downtown Tonapah Nevada. Joe had meetings here today so we are hanging out in the hotel room. Since the kids discovered they had the HBO family channel they have hardly moved from that position. More proof that you can have fun anywhere.

don't you just love teacher conventions!!! we've gone to ocean shores a bunch of times and downtown seattle once and portland and spokane all on the school dist tab!

The fun never ends. We miss you guys. What a real treat to spend time together twice in the same summer. Enjoy the rest of your vacation days and give all those kids a squeeze. Already looking forward to our next visit, sometime????? DEB.
