OUCH!

What do Oreo Cookies and a burned little hand have in common??

Usually they would have nothing in common. . .but when you are using a hot glue gun to glue oreo cookies to a hat for a project and your little man wants a cookie. . .you get one bad burn! He grabbed it faster then I could grab him.

He cried for about an hour and wanted his hand in the water most of the night. His older brother set up his Ipod so that he could watch backyardigans while he had his hand in cold water.

 A picture never shows how bad it really is. Both of his fingers were burned so bad that we are now over two weeks down the road and still having to put medicine on and care for the burns. He is still favoring his left hand and when he touches something he say, "My owie hurts!"

Now everytime he sees an Oreo cookie he says, "HOT!" and he is really enjoying the attention from all of this. He tells everyone about it and shows them as we walk into church on Sundays.
