Joe told the kids the night before his 100 mile bike race that he would finish even if he had to cross the finish line crawling on bloody stumps (that is the MARINE coming out in him)!
It wasn't that bad and there wasn't any blood but it was a bit of a rough day.
A wrong turn, a flat tire. . .
an unwaivering determination to finish the toughest century ride in the U.S.

His buddies came to Utah so they could all do it together.
