I know the pictures are blurry (my camera was on the wrong setting) but I had to post this anyway!
Joshua loves to play in the bathroom!
He loves to get himself stuck by shutting doors and then can't open them.
Put those two loves together and you have a close call!
Do we break the door, go through the window, wait for him to fall asleep??
The kids bathroom door cannot open if the toothbrush drawer is open. Joshua had managed to shut the door, open the drawer, climb up on the stool and then couldn't get down. He had one hand holding the drawer and one hand on the counter. So. . . even though we could open the door about an inch we couldn't get the drawer shut because he had a death grip on it! Finally, he stepped off the stool and since he loves to shut things he closed the drawer.
This is how we found him.
Poor kid!! Yep, that is a combo of tears, snot and drool! He was pretty upset!
He didn't want his Daddy to put him down for a long time after that!

Oh, poor baby! Funny thing though, our kid's bathroom door knob was broken and wouldn't lock when they were in jr. high and high school. To prevent any intrusion by an older brother or younger sister, they opened the toothbrush drawer to keep the bathroom door from bursting open an inappropriate times. Funny how one person's dilemma is another's answer. Keep blogging, I love it!
Oh my goodness!!! Glad that it worked out- Poor little guy! - our kids use the drawer in the same way to lock the others out. Drives me batty!!
