We have never had anything like this happen before!
The kids were in the back yard playing!
They ran inside to Joe and told him that there were Bees in the backyard.
Thinking that there were just a few, and the girls were dramatizing, he dismissed their concerns.
They insisted that he come and when he looked he was very surprised!
There were bees everywhere!!
The yellow slide was brown!
After 15 minutes of swarming the back yard they all started to land.
This is what it looks like right now!
No, that is not a beehive! That is a solid mass of bees attatched to the play fort!!
We are trying to decide what to do???

That is crazy! I just did a google search and one site said if they are clumped then you can call a bee keeper to come get them! Good luck!!!
Yikes! Might want to try the fire department. Hopefully they aren't africanized bees.
Oh boy- Guess I should have given you my number. Kevin is also the bee abatement person as part of his duties at Emergency Svcs. The ones here are africanized- so they are a bit more aggressive than normal bees. He saw them kill a horse once. Holler if they come back!!
