She's growing up

Today Emily said goodbye to a friend,
comforter,
confidant,
a sleeping buddy

On her own she came to me and said, "Mom, I think it is time for me to give up Pooh Bear!"

You can imagine my surprise after years of sleeping with him, and wanting him with her. Emily told me she thought Joshua needed him now. Definitely a sign of growing up!
